So reading in the Sept/Oct issue of the Sierra Club Magazine in the ask Mr. Green a question segment is the word locavores. Without getting into my bad comprehension skills or that fact that generally I'm a bad spella, instantly I thought of the spanish word loco...So the question to Mr. Green is from John in Salem, Oregon.
"Several of my acqaintances are obsessive locavores who buy and eat only locally grown food. They prefer organic to nonorganic food, but when the local organic options aren't available, they opt for the local nonorganic stuff. So what's best: local nonorganic or out-of-state organic?"
So I learned a new word from John in Salem, Oregon and he asks a good question....
So I ask you...
Which is better, local non-organic or out-of-state organic? & How many of you consider yourselves a locavore?
